Hi Kyoto lovers!

Have you ever thought that you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of normal life?

Eikan-do is famous for the beauty of autumn colors as you guys know, but I strongly recommend that you come to there even summer season. There are just the sound of wind, leaves and water of a little river.

You can feel escape from annoying noise real life there because almost every toursits go to "popular places" such as Kiyomizu-dera, Kinkaku-ji or Ginkaku-ji. The charm of Eikan-do has been known recently among tourists from forign countries little by little.

This blog is about my home town Kyoto in Japan.

Kyoto is one of the most historic city in Japan and we have had a lot of histories since almost 1200 years ago. There are many places which are already famous among people from other countries.

BUT!

Kyoto does not have only old temples and museums but it also has a lot of wonderful things to see, do and enjoy which have never been appeared on your guide book.
